Where is Kinship Co-Working & Retail?

We're located at 116 Washington Street in Peekskill. Walking distance from the Peekskill train station, the Peekskill Riverfront and 'Restaurant Row'.
What are your hours?

Monday through Thursday 10AM - 6PM Friday 10AM - 5PM We open for member events after-hours and have retail hours on the weekends seasonally/as needed. Hours may change in response to community needs.
Why a space for remote workers AND creators?

Amanda is a remote worker who moved up to the Hudson Valley from the city. Soon after moving, she volunteered at the Yay! Markets at the Peekskill Riverfont. The Mother's Day market was a long one for someone used to sitting at their desk all day, but by the end, Amanda was feeling inspired. People who work in tech aren't robots! Being immersed in creativity was a great feeling and she realized THAT'S what she was missing when dropping into the occasional WeWork. Together, she knew we'd be able to find a better model for shared workspaces and one that would benefit the community as a result.
What's with the retail space?

Every business has a lobby and front desk. We've decided that ours will be filled with our members' wares! There's not enough affordable studio space or retail street frontage for creators in the Hudson Valley and we want to change that. Lower monthly pricing caters to those whose primary focus is in creating art and we have a lower-than-average consignment fee in our retail space, Why? Because art should be shared!
Will you have regular office supplies?

Yup! We'll have high-speed WiFi, a printer, whiteboards, pens, sticky nontes, and conference rooms. Let us know what else you'll need!
Will you offer coffee, tea, and snacks?

We have a fridge, sink, electric kettle, and microwave available for those who want to bring their own food and beverages. We currently offer coffee and tea. Depending on what our community wants, we'll get more snacks on offer or we'll coordinate regular coffee and lunch runs locally instead.
What's with the gallery nights?

Party and buy local art! Because... why not?
Will you have events and other member perks?

For sure! We'd love to host speakers, open mic nights, workshops, game nights, and more depending on what our community is into. Let us know what you'd like to see.
Do you have parking?

We do! There's a parking lot behind our building, plus street parking out front.
